Capturing Stories Over Spectacle

I photograph the people, places and moments that make an adventure all the more memorable

Born and raised in a small North Texas town, I’ve always had a soft spot for the outdoors. Photography has only deepened that appreciation, giving me all the more reason to slow down, look closer, and take in the little things that might otherwise go unnoticed.

From working as a ranch hand to guiding wilderness trips, I’ve spent a good part of my life outdoors with a camera by my side. Today, I bring those experiences into my work as an adventure photographer, creating meaningful imagery for outdoor brands and the people behind them.

Some facts about me

Some facts about me

01.

If I'm not taking photos you can find me…

Hunting for new trails to run or ride, climbing rocks, trees, and just about anything else I can get my hands on, learning a new song, or studying the photography greats of old.

02.

Experienced Wilderness Guide

I've spent plenty of time with a pack on my back or a paddle in hand. As a wilderness guide and Wilderness First Responder, I've guided more than 260 miles of multi-day river trips across South Texas, along with backpacking trips through the Texas Hill Country.

03.

Twelfth
Generation Texan

My family roots in Texas go back twelve generations on my dad’s side and seven on my mom’s. With family inside, and possibly outside, the walls of the Alamo on that fateful morning.

So that's cool I guess…

Why I Create

I’m drawn to the stories that unfold between people and the world around them. The places that challenge us, the experiences that bring us closer together, and the small moments that stay with us long after they’ve passed.

Through photography, I want to capture these connections in a way that feels honest and intentional. Blending thoughtful compositions with genuine moments, I hope to create images that do more than document an experience, but bring people a little closer to feeling it themselves.
